For women who are overworked and under-appreciated

Are you ….

  • A woman that’s carrying the responsibility for yourself + people around you?

  • Constantly doing things and pushing yourself, but it never feels like enough?

  • Feeling like people depend on you, but you don’t have anyone who is there for you?

  • Thinking that life is not “bad enough” to explain why you feel so… blah?

  • Wanting something more but not totally sure that’s even possible?

You’re in the right place.

I’m Brittanie Zwart.

I’m a therapist that supports women who are overworked and unfulfilled to find greater peace, balance, and joy in life.  I show up for people who are always there for everyone else.  If you’d rather be out there helping other people (sorting someone elses’ shit), instead of in therapy getting support for yourself, then you’re my kind of people.  I’m a problem-solver too and I hate asking for help.  Why is it sooo hard?! (Aaah) I totally get it.

Let’s reconnect with that part of you that’s fun, creative and feel things deep.  The part of you that wants more but has been afraid to go for it.  Let’s give her the courage she needs to build a life that is enjoyable, nourishing, and actually feels good.

 My Approach in Session

Sessions are casual and conversational.  You can show up exactly as you are.  There’s no pressure to be any specific way or say any certain thing.  You’re welcome to bring your whole self and I will hold space for whatever that looks like on any given day. We can talk about what’s real and also laugh together. We can have difficult conversations with compassion.  I’ll ask the hard questions.  You can count on me to say it like it is and show up like a real person.  We will compassionately explore what’s happening inside and around you so we can get to the root cause - identify patterns and create connections.

I’m going to show up in a very human and imperfect way too.  You’ll see me eat snacks, look tired some days, and genuinely not act like a robot.  I’m energetic and fun, authentic and imperfect. During a session you’ll hear me say:  “Let’s try something and see what happens.”  I support you to make the decision that is best for you, to trust your instincts, and yourself.  I don’t need you to be a good therapy client or worry about my feelings.  I’m here for you.  I believe: “It's your life to f*ck up or your life to change,” but also I care about you so let’s try not to f*ck it up, okay? LOL  We will talk about the connection between your mood and your body.  Our goal is to gain insight and find peace, balance, your voice, and your power.
